The Role

We are looking for a passionate Software Developer who will help build, maintain, and enhance the backend APIs for our high-traffic fintech platform. A major focus of this role will be developing the infrastructure and integrations for our new AI-driven transacting projects: ACP and UCP.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in building large-scale, secure microservices using best practices. You will bridge the gap between our core escrow platform, our partner solutions, and our cutting-edge transactional AI models. Applicants for this role should be passionate, creative, and confident in their ideas, while also being able to articulate those ideas clearly and apply constructive feedback in a collaborative environment.

Expectations From You in This Position

  • AI System Integration: Work on our AI focused Agentic Commerce ensuring secure, low-latency data handoffs between the transactional AI and our backend.
  • API Development: Maintain internal and public-facing REST APIs using semantic versioning to support first- and third-party clients.
  • Microservices: Develop resilient services to be used in a microservices-based architecture, specifically designed to handle complex AI decision-making flows.
  • Third-Party Integration: Integrate third-party tools, services, and dependencies with decoupling and fault-resilience in mind.
  • Architecture & Infrastructure: Define builds, environments, and database migrations tailored to a scalable microservice environment.
  • Documentation & Testing: Document APIs using formal (e.g., Swagger) and soft (user guide) formats, and write API “journey” tests that validate the lifecycle behavior of system objects.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate actively within a cross-discipline team of software engineers, AI/Data specialists, and QA engineers.

Minimum Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Programming Experience: Strong backend experience with one of the following: PHP, Go, Java.
  • Architecture & Design: Deep knowledge of modern OOP best practices, including SOLID principles, programming to interfaces, composition over inheritance, clean code, and linting.
  • Tooling: Proficiency with package management, build tools, and versioning.
  • Version Control: Strong proficiency with Git, including branching strategies, merging, and resolving conflicts across shared branches.
  • API Fundamentals: Extensive experience developing REST APIs and a solid understanding of the semantics of HTTP, including verbs and resources.

Bonus Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • AI/ML Familiarity: Experience integrating backend systems with AI models, LLMs, or Python-based services.
  • E-commerce Platforms: Familiarity with WordPress/Shopify plugin development and architecture.
  • Frontend Knowledge: Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, particularly React.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working in the fintech, payments, or escrow field.
  • Security First: Knowledge of backend security best practices, including SQL injection prevention, data sanitization, and DoS mitigation.
  • Continuous Learning: A genuine enthusiasm to learn, evaluate, and implement new technologies as our AI capabilities expand.

The Role

As a QA Engineer at Trustap, you will be the vital link between our development team and our end users. You will ensure the reliability, security, and seamless performance of our web applications, iOS/Android mobile apps, and robust API integrations (including our Shopify and WooCommerce plugins). While you will protect the overall integrity of our financial platform, your primary focus will be on testing and validating our new AI-driven transaction systems. You will play a critical role in catching bugs and algorithmic anomalies before they reach production.

 

 

What You’ll Do

  • AI Model & Logic Validation: Design and execute rigorous test plans specifically for our ACP and UCP transactional AI models, ensuring they make accurate, secure, and predictable decisions.
  • Automation & API Testing: Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites to evaluate the APIs that connect our AI transaction engines with our core escrow platforms, accelerating release cycles and preventing regressions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and data teams to understand new features, define testing requirements, and troubleshoot complex edge-case bugs.

 

 

Essential Requirements (Must-Haves):

  • Experience: 2+ years of core experience in a Quality Assurance or Software Testing role.
  • API Testing: Proven ability to test APIs effectively using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Cross-Platform Expertise: Demonstrated experience testing across multiple environments.
  • Mindset & Adaptability: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a strong willingness to learn AI testing methodologies and data validation.

 

 

Optional (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Fintech Background: Previous experience in fintech, payments, or SaaS, particularly with familiarity in escrow payments or fraud detection models.
  • Payment Systems: Familiarity with testing payment gateways (like Stripe, PayPal) and complex financial/escrow logic.
  • E-commerce Integrations: Experience working with or testing plugins for platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce.
  • AI/ML Frameworks: Experience interacting with or testing specific AI frameworks, LLMs, or tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, OpenAI APIs).
  • Test Automation: Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or similar).

Trustap | Remote (US) | SaaS

About the role

We’re looking for a high-energy, commercially minded Sales Executive to help grow Trustap’s Vehicle Deposits product across the US automotive market.

This is a true new business role, you’ll be prospecting, building pipeline, running demos, and closing dealership customers end-to-end (Full Cycle).

You’ll work directly with dealer principals, GMs, and sales leaders to help them convert more committed buyers, convert leads more effectively, and turn inventory faster.

What you’ll be doing

  • Prospecting dealerships across the US through calls, email, LinkedIn, trade shows and in-person meetings.
  • Field visits to dealerships across the US (~1-2 Days per week/4-8 Days per month)
  • Running discovery conversations and product demos
  • Building pipeline from scratch and managing opportunities through to close
  • Clearly communicating ROI and business impact to decision-makers
  • Negotiating and closing deals
  • Supporting onboarding and ensuring customers get value quickly
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline and activity tracking in Salesforce
